Apart from the specific categories of international organizations, there are certain other organizations that can be categorized under the head of other international organizations which deals with different areas.  International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT), United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), World Meteorological Organization (WMO), World Tourism Organization (WTO) are some of them.

INTERPOL is the world’s largest international police organization that facilitates cross border police cooperation, supports and assists organizations, authorities and services whose mission is to prevent international crime.  UNIDROIT studies the needs and methods for modernizing, harmonizing, and coordinating private international law.  UNICEF works for the HIV affected children, child survival and development, basic education, gender equality and protection of children.

UNESCO contributes to peace and security by promoting and encouraging international cooperation.  WIPO develops a balanced and accessible international intellectual property (IP) system.  WMO provide adequate information and advance warnings that could save lives and reduce damage to property and environment.  WTO is a specialized agency of the United ‎Nations and the leading international organization in the field of tourism.
